Bob Pennycook is a mixed-media artist creating collage designs using paper, paint and fabric on a variety of home decor items.
Current professional activities:
- art work is licensed to the giftware and poster industries
- designs and manufacturers a line of stamps and stencils sold to the stamping and paper arts industries
- currently produces a limited number of commissioned painted furniture pieces
- working on manuscripts for books with collage art as the main or peripheral subject matter
- Editorial advisory committee member, PaintWorks magazine
- frequent contributor of instructional design work to several different paint, stamp, paper, home decorating magazines in the U.S.
- has authored, and published, eight instructional step-by-step decorative painting books and has two other manuscripts underway
- teaches throughout Canada
