2008 Chapter President...

Hello Ladies: Once again it is time for our news letter. We are into August and the summer just seems to be going by so quickly. We are looking forward to Lynne Deptula coming in August to teach a table runner. It will be a good class to attend as Lynne is an excellent teacher.

September brings our auction. I know everyone is busy painting things. This is the one and only big money making project that we do so we have to all support it. If we do not do well with our profit from the auction we will have to eliminate some national teachers. We have all worked so very hard to get where we are so please all chip in. I have heard that there are going to be some really neat and differ-ent center pieces this year. Tena and I are busy lining up items to be donated for the $10.00 and under corner, along with your orna-ments. I understand we are getting some positive feed back on this new section of the auction.

This year seems to have been hard on many of us with sickness and in some cases family members passing on. My heart goes out to all of you who are going through these difficult times. Keep your brushes busy. I will see you at the auction.
